Spend a glorious afternoon with MCS this Sunday as we celebrate the world around us with a variety of lovely, haunting, and exciting pieces from the past century: the exultation of naturalist John Muir in Come to the Woods; the poignancy of Joni Mitchell’s Both Sides Now; the upbeat spiritual Unclouded Day; a setting of the children’s classic Goodnight Moon; and many more. Brighten your day with an afternoon of song beautifully presented by the chorus and orchestra of the Maryland Choral Society. Our community chorus is gearing up for its 54th season with our new artistic director, the acclaimed conductor, composer, and educator Joshua Fishbein -- and we have openings in all vocal parts.
