An independent Catholic school serving PreK - 8, located in Frederick County MD that provides a classical liberal arts curriculum St. Thomas More Academy serves children in PreK3 - 8th Grade and offers a Catholic Classical education for the whole child; heart, mind & soul. A private school (preK-8th) offering a Catholic curriculum, St. Thomas More Academy (STMA) was founded in 2000 to meet the increasing demands for faith-based education in Maryland, more specifically in Frederick County.  STMA is a community of students, parents and educators working together to achieve excellence in education inspired by Catholic traditions and spirituality.  Our mandate is to grow the hearts, minds and souls of students so that they develop fully their capabilities and talents as children of God and recognize their own unique self worth and potential to contribute positively to the world around them.  Our mission is to become the area's faith-based education of choice.  We offer a rigorous academic curriculum featuring a Classical Liberal Arts Program, small class sizes, daily activities immersed in a spiritual setting and after school programs, clubs and sports.
