Virginia Girls State is a program of American Legion Auxiliary

Outstanding rising seniors as well as eligible home schooled young women are chosen to participate in this annual educational program. TO PROVIDE YOUNG WOMEN AN OPPORTUNITY TO LIVE TOGETHER AS SELF-GOVENRING CITIZENS AND TO INFORM THEM ABOUT THE DUTIES, PRIVILEGES, RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITES OF AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP.
