HMPS is Alabama's oldest grass-roots historic preservation organization. To create tangible links to the past for the benefit of present and future generations.

Proud to partner with Events Highlights Siege of Spanish Fort with Paul Brueske November 14 2024 6pm7pm The Historic Oakleigh House Paul will be discussing his new book Digging All Night and Fighting All Day The Civil War Siege of Spanish Fort and the Mobile Campaign 1865 the first focused study of the siege of Spanish Fort. Holiday Homes Tour December 14 2024 11am5pm Hosted by the Historic Mobile Preservation Society the fourth annual Holiday Homes Tour will take place on Saturday December 14 2024 and will feature historic homes along Government St. and in the Oakleigh Garden District.
