The next ✊🏽 ART SOLIDARITY ACTION ✊🏽Town Hall Meeting for performers, artists, dancers, creators, activists, and nonprofit workers is taking place this Sunday. Artists interested in learning more about or in taking action against injustices affecting artists—particularly those rooted in or intensified by the current administration’s policies and approaches—are invited. Sunday, April 13th from 6:30-8:30 PM BANDALOOP Studios (1601 18th St, Oakland) hosted by Shawl-Anderson Dance Center - Image Descriptions: Slide 1: A poster featuring tall, bold white text reading “ART SOLIDARITY ACTION” stacked vertically against a black background, with vibrant teal abstract shapes that resemble soft, grainy paint strokes. Below, smaller white and teal text announces a town hall for Bay Area performing artists and dancers on April 13, 2025, at Bandaloop Studios, emphasizing collective action in response to political injustice. Slide 2: The second poster continues the black background and teal textured aesthetic, with “ART SOLIDARITY ACTION” again at the top in large, vertical white text. The body text in white describes the network’s response to political crises—highlighting threats to civil rights, healthcare, and arts funding—and invites attendees to join in active solidarity, closing with a warm note to bring snacks or beverages to share.
