The Arundel Vocal Arts Society (AVAS) is a community choral group directed by JoAnn Kulesza meeting Wednesday evenings from Sept through May at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 461 College Pkwy, Arnold, MD. Concerts are early December and late April/early May. Our Mission The Arundel Vocal Arts Society creates great musical experiences and contributes a unique music presence to Anne Arundel County. We provide opportunities to learn, create, share, make friends, and love music. Through our singular, distinct and uncommon programs, we move and change those who experience our concerts. Our Vision We strive to be Anne Arundel County’s premiere chamber vocal ensemble. We create and perform music programs that reflect the human experience throughout the ages and in our current time. Our music inspires, challenges and engages our members and our audiences.
