Rainbow Rescue Ranch Retired Horse Ministry, Inc. Vision StatementRainbow Rescue Ranch Retired Horse Ministry, Inc. (RRR Horse) started as a dream given by God in February, 2010. The original thought was to provide temporary housing for horses whose owners were going through life’s difficulties, i.e., job loss, divorce, etc. and didn’t want to lose their horse. However, the liability issues proved to be insurmountable for any rescue to run effectively under these conditions.RRR Horse is designed for the senior and companion (pasture pal) horses that just need a soft place to land in the last leg of their lives. Our lack of larger facilities and more pasture along with financial resources temporarily limit us, but as the vision God gave us grows, we declare that we will expand our efforts while always staying within our financial limits of care.• Future plans are to set aside funding to help other rescues with quarantine facilities to retrieve at risk horses directly from slaughter sales and to rehabilitate them and then re-home them. These are special needs horses that will require 30 days of quarantine before being introduced to other horses. We do not have quarantine facilities at the moment but will financially support, when able to, other rescues that can.• A place for those who need quiet time in a barn to visit with the horses, groom them and let God speak to their hearts. • It is our prayer, within God’s will for His rescue, to be able to attain our own larger facility with more pasture/acreage for the horses. • All of our future plans are directly related to our fundraising efforts, grants and donations. Specific groups will be set up to oversee special programs and funding for them, once this has been achieved we will go forward with each specific project. The amount of horses we can save, and the specific programs we can initiate will all be reflected by our income.•Our short-term goals are to provide a loving, nurturing atmosphere for the senior or companion pasture pal horse while staying within our means. • Our long-term goal is to attain a larger permanent facility for our senior and companion pasture pal horses to live out their days.Matthew 19:26 - “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
