Since its inception the Development Council has assisted in the retention and creation of thousands of jobs resulting in the investment of billions of dollars and a quality of life that rivals that of any rural community in the Midwest. Buffalo County Nebraska is at the geographic center of the United States midway between San Francisco and Boston.
