These mustangs descended from horses that were brought over by Spanish conquistadors other breeds have since contributed to the original mustang bloodline. The area in and around Placitas NM is home to many of these wild horses. Our Organization In 2003 a looseknit group of Placitas residents provided feed and water to the wild horses that roamed public and Tribal lands north of Placitas.
