Overview

Ducks Unlimited, Inc. (DU) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation of wetlands and associated upland habitats for waterfowl, other wildlife, and people in North America. It is headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee, and was founded in 1937 by Joseph Knapp and other conservationists in response to the severe decline of waterfowl populations during the Dust Bowl.
