San Francisco Drug Users Union

San Francisco Drug Users Union’s mission is to improve the health and well-being of people affected by drug use, to increase access to health care, empower people to protect themselves, and educate each other to reduce harm in our communities. We combine direct services, advocacy, outreach, education, and research collaborations to fulfill this mission. We advocate at the local, state, and federal level for the protection and promotion of the health and wellness of people who use drugs. San Francisco Drug User’s Union has been successfully & consistently operating a neighborhood drop-in center for local residents who access our services since 2012.

For the community by the community. Our mission is to organize drug users as leaders in the campaign to end the Drug War to improve the health and wellbeing of drug users and to destigmatize drug use and drug users. THE WORK Access to Care SFDUU operates a vibrant vital syringe service program currently operating three days a week at our Tenderloin neighborhood dropin center. In addition to safer drug use supplies we provide supplies for wound care and essential hygeine needs.
