The choice in front of the Illinois General Assembly was clear: Take action to protect our climate and consumers by passing legislation that would give them tools they need to keep their energy costs low and bolster our electric grid with affordable clean energy resources. Deep-pocketed fossil fuel interests won yesterday. Across the country, they are lining up to block climate progress again.
