We are a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Horse rescue focusing on Rescuing horses of the community from neglect, starvation, and abuse. From Sheriff seizures to owner relinquishments, and local Horse sales before they end up in the slaughter pipeline. Saving one life at a time, making a difference to the lives of many Equines and humans through the love of horses. RESCUING TO REHAB AND REHOME Angel Wings Equine Rescue, focuses on taking in horses of the community from neglect, starvation, abuse, injuries, abandonment, and also just a safe place to be rehomed instead of feared to go down the slaughter pipeline. Our Equines come from law enforcement seizures, owner relinquishments, local sale barns, and family homes who trust us to place their loved ones in forever loved homes. After each Intake/rescue, the horses get evaluated, Vetted, Treated if needed, Dental work, Vaccinated, and Dewormed. We also start training and rehabilitation as needed. All horses get a riding and temperament evaluation before Adopting to forever homes.

Angel Wings Equine Rescue
Lil Chewy, formerly Chewbacca, (his looks definitely changed after he was body clipped, and we found a tiny lil mini baby under all that hair) is doing better after he was brutally attacked by dogs and drug through a fence. His wounds were down to the bone, he was pulled on very hard and stretched tendons and ligaments that weren't meant to be yanked on like they were, had multiple deep wounds, and traumatized mentally. He is such a sweet and happy boy now.
