Our mission is to establish a sustainable transitional housing model that provides single women & women with children, who are experiencing homelessness in the Bakersfield area, with supportive services in an innovative and holistic environment that supports their transition to permanent housing and stable employment. Residents will live in a family like setting that engenders a spirit of community, a sense of extended family, and a nurturing atmosphere that reflects the inherent dignity and individual worth of each person. The program will be innovative & holistic, facilitating in residents an awareness of their own abilities, obtaining the skills necessary for employment with a sustainable wage and benefits, all contributing to a healthy self-concept as a person of dignity and value.
