The International MRA Conference was founded in 1989 and it is the premier annual conference focusin TO FOSTER A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF VASCULAR MAGNETIC RESONANCE RESEARCH AND CLINICAL APPLICATIONS TO STIMULATE AND ENCOURAGE THE EXCHANGE, COMMUNICATION AND DISSEMINATION OF DEVELOPMENTS IN THE FIELD; TO COORDINATE AND FURTHER THE PROGRAMS OF SMRA AND ITS MEMBERS BY FUNCTIONING AS A SERVICE ORGANIZATION AND COMMUNICATION NETWORK; TO COOPERATE WITH APPROPRIATE INDIVIDUALS, ORGANIZATIONS AND INSTITUTIONS ON A LOCAL, REGIONAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL LEVELS IN PROJECTS AND ACTIVITIES THAT PROMOTE AND SUSTAIN THE GENERAL INTEREST IN MAGNETIC RESONANCE RESEARCH AND TO ACCEPT DONATIONS FOR THE ABOVE PURPOSES OR ANY OTHER CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES.

The MR Angio Club formally Incorporated as the nonprofit Society for Magnetic Resonance Angiography SMRA in 2015. The societys annual conference is widely recognized as the sole international conference exclusively devoted to MR angiography. Each year prominent researchers and clinicians come from all over the world to attend this event and present their most up to date research results and exchange ideas.
