Hornet Age Group Swim Club
THE HORNET SWIM CLUB IS BASED ON THE DUAL BELIEFS THAT IN ORDER TO MAXIMIZE LONG TERM ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT 1) YOUNG ATHLETES MUST BE DEVELOPED AS A WHOLE PERSON AND 2) TRAINING GROUPS MUST PROVIDE SYSTEMATIC PROGRESSION OF INCREASED EXPECTATION AND INVOLVEMENT. WITHIN THIS FRAMEWORK THE HORNET COACHES WORK TO INSTILL THE FOUNDATIONS OF A LOVE FOR THE WATER AND SWIMMING; THE VALUE OF CITIZENSHIP AND TEAMWORK; A LOVE FOR THE HORNETS AND THEIR HORNET TEAMMATES; AND STRONG TECHNICAL SKILL ACQUISITION.
