On campus in Berea, Kentucky, this mission is accomplished by providing liberal arts education without charging tuition to approximately 1,500 talented students with exceptional financial need. In the surrounding region, Berea College initiatives foster positive growth by empowering families and communities. Eight Great Commitments guide Berea's work promoting educational opportunity, interracial cooperation, and social justice.
