Join us this Wednesday, April 9th for our weekly meeting at 12:30 PM in Charter Hall, located on the third floor of the Roanoke City Market Building to listen to Michael Clark, Owner and Principal Consultant at Oxbow. Clark will talk about the VA MTNS Outdoor Collective, an outdoor business alliance. The Collective is a regional initiative aimed at uniting businesses, advocates, and enthusiastic to strengthen Western and Southwestern Virginia's outdoor recreation economy and community. Clark has spent the last 25 years working in the field of parks, recreation and cultural resources. He is currently the owner and principal consultant with Oxbow, a management consulting firm dedicated to building more livable communities. He recently served as the Director of Roanoke City Parks and Recreation. (fb)

Amy Hearn Carter 's soup at Kiwanis today was delicious! 😋 When I got in line for lunch, I asked someone "what kind of soup is it?" I honestly can't remember who it was, but they said "it's white"! It was indeed white, and later confirmed made from several different kinds of potatoes. 😄 I've never seen such an enormous Crock Pot, and we got generous servings of yummy soup! (fb)
