Join us for Sunday Assembly Los Angeles on Sunday, June 8th at 11am at CFI West as we celebrate Pride Month with this month’s theme, "Proud Parts: Science, Pleasure, and Representation." We’re thrilled to welcome Natalia Reagan, MA, an anthropologist, primatologist, comedian, and acclaimed science communicator. She will present her talk, "Increasing Your Clitoracy Rate: Homo sapiens, Simian, and Snake Slitsss Explained," which explores fascinating new research on the clitoris in both humans and animals, and highlights why diverse voices in science are essential. She has a rather large puppet as well! Assembly will be hosted by Stephanie Idlebird-Rivers and Amy Boyle, and will feature singalongs, community milestones, and plenty of opportunities to connect. After the program, we’ll continue with a potluck in the lobby, so bring your favorite dish to share. For those who prefer to join from home, the event will also be streamed live on Zoom.
