THE ASSOCIATION WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1928 TO PROMOTE THE BUSINESS INTERESTS OF WHOLESALERS PRIMARILY ENGAGED IN THE DISTRIBUTION OF PLUMBING, HEATING AND COOLING EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES, WATER SYSTEMS, AND PIPES, VALVES AND FITTINGS. ADDITIONAL EFFORTS TARGET THE PROMOTION OF INDUSTRIAL PEACE BY ENCOURAGING SOUND LABOR PRACTICES, ADVISING MEMBERS PERTINANTE TO THEIR BUSINESS, AND AIDING IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF HIGH OPERATIONAL STANDARDS IN THE INDUSTRY IN CONFORMANCE WITH EXISTINGLAW. THE ASSOCIATION COLLECTS AND COMPILES STATISTICAL DATA AND DISTRIBUTES THAT DATA TO ITS MEMBERS TO AID THEM IN MAINTAINING EFFICIENT AND COMPETITIVE OPERATIONS.
