Ranch of 2Nd Chances

R2C utilizes culture as a tool, honoring our theme of “Mitakuye Oyasin” meaning “We Are All Related.” This theme directly relates to the treatment milieu of continued education, equine therapy, horticultural therapy, cognitive conditioning, drug & alcohol treatment, life skills, vocational training, giving back, and transitional services.The goal of R2C is to assist young men between the ages of 18 to 25, who are leaving correctional facilities in transitioning to independence within our communities. The state and federal government have identified gaps in services for this population. Historically, services have been discontinued at age 18. However, these young men are at most risk to relapse or re-offend when transitioning to be independent with limited services.
