Donate Hair to Help Children with Cancer Hair Loss | Wigs For Kids Our Mission For Over 40 Years Helping Children Look Themselves Live Their Lives Proudly Serving Children and Teens for Over 40 Years When children lose their hair they dont just struggle physically. The change in their appearance can drastically undermine their selfimage and sabotage their selfesteem. To help children look themselves and live their lives Certified Cosmetic Therapist Jeffrey Paul founded Wigs For Kids a nonprofit organization that has been serving children experiencing medical hair loss since 1981. Wigs For Kids brings together stylists and hair donors who want to help children experiencing hair loss from alopecia trichotillomania burns chemotherapy or any other medical causes of hair loss.

Making a difference at BuckeyeThon 2025. 💇♀️💕 We're thrilled to share that Wigs For Kids participated in Ohio State University's BuckeyeThon this February, where thousands of students came together to support children affected by childhood cancer. Through the dedicated work of Wigs For Kids at OSU, seven generous individuals donated their hair during our Cut-A-Thon, with additional ponytails collected throughout the year being contributed to our cause.

Join us at the Best Dam Barbecue Challenge in Boulder City's Historic Bicentennial Park this Friday, May 23rd from 3-4 PM. Our dedicated Hair Donation Specialist Sherrill Graff from Creative Hair & Nails will be hosting a special Cut-A-Thon to benefit children experiencing medical hair loss. Sherrill has been supporting our mission for over 5 years and is now a Certified Service Provider helping our recipient children.
