The mission of The Big Picture Film & Video Foundation is to educate and encourage the utilization of student and emerging filmmakers whose studies and creative expression emphasize screen-based media in the "big picture” of film & digital production. The Big Picture Film and Video Foundation provides year-round educational programs in film and digital media production for students, film/TV/media educators, and emerging independent filmmakers to prepare them for success in careers in screen-based media industry. Programs consist of educational workshops, seminars, panels and master classes. The BigPictureCon Film & Technology Conference – or BigPictureCon – is our signature event, comprising of 2 days of educational sessions and networking with industry professionals and peers.
