Congratulations to The Hilltop’s Editor-in-Chief Jacky “JD” Dennis Jean-Jacques II for receiving the 2025 NABJ Student Journalist of the Year Award 🎉📰 The recent summa cum laude graduate joined The Hilltop during his freshman year. He steadily rose in the ranks from DMV section editor to campus editor and then editor-in-chief. And what makes this award even more remarkable is that he was not a journalism major.
