CRICKET II
The mission of this project is binary. The restoration of the historic wessel cricket II was accomplished in late 2014. "Since that time, she has been used exclusively for the benefit of disabled and retired miliary veterans who are invited to fish about her at no cost. The objectives of the organization are accomplished by a volunteer board, together with volunteers from the general public and military community. In 2017, the project made 27 fishing trips with 66 veteran passengers.

CRICKET II CRICKET II Cricket II Restoration Preservation Project Inc An Old Boat With A New Mission Enriching the lives of disabled veteranswith free fishing adventures aboard the Cricket II. THE PROJECT Since July 2014 when the Cricket II was recommissioned and dedicated to her new mission she has made 72 fishing trips with over 160 veterans. The Cricket II Project is an allvolunteer North Carolina nonprofit and operates entirely on small grants and your private donations. Gifts are taxdeductible.
