About Previous Conferences More Serving the Third Line of Defense of Texas Higher Education since 1985. Organization History The Texas Association of College and University Auditors TACUA was established to provide a professional network and support system for auditors working in Texas higher education institutions. Founded by internal auditors from universities and colleges across the state TACUAs goal was to foster collaboration share best practices and enhance the professional development of auditors within higher education. Over the years TACUA has grown expanding its reach to include auditors from both public and private institutions.
