PFLAG Charlotte provides peer support for families, allies, and LGBTQ+ individuals, educates ourselves and others on issues important to LGBTQ+ communities, and advocates for a more equitable future for all. Serving Charlotte since 1987, we strengthen families, empower allies, and elevate LGBTQ+ communities as we envision a world where diversity is celebrated, and all people are valued inclusive of their sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression.

PFLAG Charlotte is a local chapter of PFLAG, the largest organization in the United States dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ individuals and their families.
History
Founded in 1987, PFLAG Charlotte has been a cornerstone of LGBTQ+ support in the Charlotte area. It is part of a nationwide network of chapters that aim to create a more inclusive and affirming environment for the LGBTQ+ community.
