Angel Pillowcases Comforting Children and Families in Alabama . Our Partners Angel Pillowcases started in 2014 when Grace Carroll Arnold wanted to make pillowcases for children being treated in the hospital and at the same time raise awareness for pediatric cancer in honor of Sean Fredella a fourtime cancer survivor. Angel Pillowcases is volunteer run nonprofit and has no paid employees. In the beginning pillowcases were being washed and hand cut in Birmingham and sewn by men and women in Haiti.
