We guarantee a better beginning to abandoned homeless and atrisk children up to six years old We empower parents providing them with productive skills to be self sufficient We provide a safe space and a healthy environment for the children to thrive We foster positive and nurturing relationships between our children and their families aiming at family reunification American Friends of Bambi Homes Colombia is a 501c3 taxexempt nonprofit organization based in New York and dedicated to raising funds to support the work of Bambi Homes in favor of the early childhood in Colombia. Impact Impact Programs Programs Early Childhood Services Early Childhood Services Parents Economic Empowerment Parents Economic Empowerment In our Bambi Homes we provide a safe and nurturing environment for children under five years old with services including institutional care for abandoned orphaned and at risk children high quality day care for disadvantaged children and home base assistance for malnourished and at risk children. In the Bambi Homes children receive professional services from a team of psychologists social workers therapists nutritionists doctors teachers and caregivers who maintain or restore their physical and psychological well being. Since 2000 through our parents program we have teach 6000 parents nurturing parenting skills self esteem and provide tools for economic empowerment.
