Utah Browncoats Society
We hold fundraising events such as screenings of the movie Serenity (CSTS or Can't Stop The Serenity events), affiliate events and other similar things to celebrate our love of the TV show Firefly and the movie Serenity and their creator, Joss Whedon while raising money for charity. Our primary charity is Equality Now, but we also donate to organizations which benefit domestic violence victims, homeless youth, literacy programs, and animals, among others.

She was a costume designer for Firefly and dozens of other scifi and fantasy series including Angel Star Wars Power Rangers Dr. Horrible and Torchwood to name only a few. As a person she was kind approachable and loved sharing her costume designs with the fans who asked for her advice and opinions.
