Transitions Family Violence Services assist adult and child victims through the provision of shelter, counseling, advocacy, and education services. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating domestic violence and human trafficking on Transitions Family Violence Services assists adult and child victims of domestic violence and human trafficking on the Virginia Peninsula. which provide shelter, counseling and advocacy. Our goals are to provide a safe environment and trauma-informed services to increase the likelihood that survivors will lead violence-free lives; become self-sufficient and to reduce the likelihood that future generations will repeat the cycle of violence. We work to increase awareness and provide opportunities for community members to participate in our mission.
