The Ames Area Amateur Astronomers AAAA is a nonprofit 501c3 educational organization whose goals are to inform and excite people about the wonders of the night sky. We do this through formal presentations about astronomy at our club meetings informal outreach events the Iowa Star Party each fall and stargazing opportunities at our observatory at McFarland Park just north of Ames.
