ARISE2Read strives to make our community a place where every child can read and feels valued! Through one-to-one connections with students, ARISE2Read seeks to improve literacy skills, provide faith-based support, and work together to make our community a better place. Our volunteers commit to serving one hour a week, typically from September to April, to work with two students. ARISE2Read also provides students with 8 - 10 brand new books each year to help children build their at-home libraries.

Home - ARISE2Read A RENEWAL IN STUDENT EDUCATION EVANGELISM what is arise2read. ARISE2Read is a nonprofit organization. We take an active role in the development of children in our school system through the presence of volunteers focused on literacy. We tutor students one hour per week utilizing a simple sight word approach and provide books for the students to enhance their literacy skills outside the classroom.
