Voice Of the People (VOP) is a nonpartisan organization that seeks to re-anchor our democracy in its founding principles by giving ‘We the People’ a greater role in government. VOP furthers the use of innovative methods and technology to give the American people a more effective voice in the policymaking process. VOP encourages Members of Congress to be more responsive to their constituents and to utilize state of the art methods and tools, called Public Consultations, that provide a more accurate understanding of the views of their constituents.

Voice of the People – Voice of the People The Crisis and Opportunityof American Democracy The Federal government is currently failing to address numerous problems due largely to increasing partisan polarization leading to government gridlock. While many believe partisan polarization in government is a reflection of the American public research reveals that it is due to the increasing role of competing special interests seeking to influence government through partisan channels. Research shows there is far more common ground among the American public than in government. The American people can play a crucial role in helping the government move through its impasses.
