Since 1998, Agenda:Alexandria has been promoting informed debate and discussion of the major issues affecting Alexandria. It takes a look at the issues without taking sides. Agenda:Alexandria is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, non-partisan organization. Agenda:Alexandria is registered 501(c)(3) non-partisan organization which encourages informed debate and discussion on a wide variety of local issues without taking a position. We host eight programs per year on topics of interest to the residents of the City of Alexandria. For more than 20 years, Agenda:Alexandria has “looked at the issues without taking sides.” Program topics are wide-ranging and have included such issues as transportation, education, history & preservation, waterfront development, dining out, the environment, the arts, eating local, City budget planning, aging in place, and public safety—to list just a few.
