Congratulations to Porter-Leath Books from Birth on its 20th anniversary! The program promotes kindergarten readiness and strengthens families in Shelby County by providing monthly, age-appropriate books for children from birth to age five—with 7 million books mailed since 2005. Did you know that GiVE 365 Memphis played an important part in its history? A 2014 GiVE 365 grant advancing Collaboration for Change was the first time that Shelby County Books from Birth and Porter-Leath ever worked together, and they recognized the powerful synergy their partnership created.
