Today, seven of our Many Rivers Montessori alumni returned to their roots, visiting the classrooms where their educational journeys began. As newly graduating SENIORS, they stepped into the familiar space, and memories came flooding back. Each graduate gravitated towards different shelves, reminiscing about grammar symbols, Halloween poems, maps, timelines, and their favorite books. And, of course, they all made a beeline to greet Sheldon, the beloved class turtle, showering him with affection. Our current had many questions, asking the graduates about their favorite works, cherished traditions, and observations about how the classroom has evolved. And of course the biggest question, "what in the world is high school like?" Witnessing this beautiful exchange between past and present students was a testament to the lasting impact of the Montessori experience. (fb)
