Omega Mentoring Youth (OMY) is a non-profit community-based organization whose VISION is to empower indigenous faith & community-based organizations to operate effective alternative-to-incarceration programs for youth. OMY embraces a trans-formative approach to youth delinquency that focuses on building local neighborhood capacity to work with youth in trouble with the law. OMY believes that strengthening indigenous support systems in the neighborhoods where youth reside is the key to empowering communities to take back responsibility for the supervision, support, accountability, and long-term development of its youth.
