The Modern Maturity Center was officially incorporated on March 4, 1969, as a response to the growing need for a senior gathering place in Dover. Initially, the center began operating in a rented church facility. Over the years, it expanded its operations by moving to larger facilities, including a house on South Bradford Street and eventually its current location on Forrest Avenue. The organization's growth was marked by strategic expansions and additions to its services, reflecting its commitment to meeting the evolving needs of the senior community.
