Our Mission is to save the lives of animals by helping the humans that care for them. Whiskers and Tails is an all -volunteer, Missouri registered 501(c) 3 humane/human outreach & assistance organization that helps companion animals stay at home where they belong by helping their humans. We are not an animal shelter or animal rescue. The mission of Whiskers and Tails is to save the lives of animals by helping the humans who care for them. Whiskers and Tails provides aid, assistance, and resources to humans and that allows them to keep their animals at home with them instead of the animals being released to an overcrowded animal shelter or given away in one of the dangerous free to good home ads where they end up in anything but a good home. The main purpose of our organization being created was to make a difference in the lives of animals and to end abandonment, abuse, dumping, and overpopulation and increase owner retention. "We save the lives of animals by helping the humans who care for them."
