Friends of Reinstein Woods
On National Intern Day, we celebrate the 100 Environmental Education Interns who have worked at Reinstein Woods since September 2007. Our interns lead tours for school groups, work with youth at afterschool programs, greet visitors and answer questions at the front desk, facilitate fun at the Kids in the Woods summer camp, and so much more. We are grateful for all their contributions to Reinstein Woods.

These remarkable insects are recognized for their vivid orange and black hues, which act as a warning to predators about their toxicity, a result of the milkweed they feed on during their caterpillar stage.
