General Needs is an all volunteer nonprofit 501(C) 3 organization that provides basic needs to veter The primary mission of General Needs is to assist homeless veterans, veterans in need as well as their families, to live lives of dignity by assisting them in obtaining the basic necessities. This is done through the provision of NEW Daily-living necessities: underwear, socks, tee-shirts and toiletries. Seasonal clothing: Cold weather and warm weather clothing needs Footwear: water-proof boots, sneakers, summer sandals, shower flipflops etc. The secondary mission of General Needs is to aid homeless veterans and veteran families in need new beds "kits" and household items to veterans moving into housing with a VASH-HUD Voucher. Having the basic household items (bed frame, mattress, box spring, bedding, towels & kitchenware) will enable a succcessful transition back to independant living.
