Annual Trail Clean-Up Day is Saturday, April 26, 2025! We are looking for volunteers - individuals or groups (ie, families, companies, co-workers, church organizations, school teams/clubs, boy and girl scouts, etc.) - that are interested in spending a morning or afternoon making a difference on our trail. But don't feel like April 26 is the ONLY day you can work on the trail! Because spring is an especially busy time of the year, we are flexible and are happy to work with individual or group schedules. Typically, clean up includes sweeping off the ADA pads at the road ends and picking up trash/debris along the trail. Please contact our trail manager, Barry Culham, by emailing him at cistrail@gmail.com letting him know when you are available to work and the area you would like to clean. Don't forget to leave your contact information on the best way to reach you. Together let's make our trail look as impressive as it truly is! Whoooo needs to join us at our 2025 FMCIS Annual Meeting? YOU DO! You won’t want to miss hearing from our keynote speaker this year - John Morrison, Executive Director of West Michigan Trails. Mr. Morrison will be speaking about West Michigan trail initiatives, wayfaring/signage and the regional master plan of West Michigan trails (which the FMCIS Trail is part of). In addition, get updates on our trail from Trail Manager, Barry Culham. And much, much more! We will be at the Muir Community Center this Wednesday, April 9 at 7 pm.
