Preventing all forms of child abuse and neglect in Upstate South Carolina The Parenting Place is a private nonprofit organization serving families in Upstate South Carolina. Our goal is to provide services and supports that strengthen families. Through this, we aspire to prevent all forms of child abuse and neglect. THE ORGANIZATIONS PURPOSE IS PROVIDING EDUCATION AND AWARENESS TO THE PUBLIC TO PREVENT CHILD ABUSE THROUGH PARENTING RISK IDENTIFICATION, POSITIVE PARENTING, COMMUNITY NURTURING OF FAMILIES, AND VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENT.
