🎉 Advocacy Win for School-Based OTs in NC! 🙌 NCOTA is pleased to report that two amendments were successfully adopted into the House budget bill to increase transparency of salaries of school-based OTs across North Carolina. 💼📊 We want to thank Rep. Sarah Crawford (Wake County) for her leadership in getting these amendments adopted and also to Rep. Donny Lambeth (Forsyth) for speaking in support of Rep. Crawford House floor amendment 💙👏 Here’s what the amendments will do: ✅ Require all NC school districts to report OT/PT salary schedules annually ✅ Mandate reporting of OT/PT staffing levels, vacancies & contracted positions These steps move us toward greater equity and recognition for the vital work of school-based OTs! 🧠📝👩‍🏫 💥 Special shoutout to our Children & Youth SIS Chairs, Tamika and Karen, and every one of YOU who sent letters and spoke up.
