About the organization

Member of the York County Volunteer Association As a result other families needs for food clothing shelter and medical care were realized. In 1968 a nonprofit organization was formed and named the York County Volunteer Association Inc. The mission of the YCVA is to provide assistance to those in need in our local community of York CountyPoquoson. Profits from the Bargain Box sales provide money for emergency assistance to families for vocational scholarships for daycare assistance as well as for grants to other organizations that serve the community.
