We are continuing our spotlight on what makes Field School special. Let's dive into character education! The middle-school years are an especially important time for character development, and it's embedded in every aspect of our program. We focus on traits like honesty, respect, responsibility, compassion, and courage. A structured environment fosters independence and accountability. And, important social skills - teamwork, sportsmanship, inclusion and belonging - are reinforced daily. Over the weekend, the Crozet Fire Department used Field School as a training site—and we were honored to support their important work! 🚒🔥 Firefighters practiced building entry, connecting and deploying water lines, victim rescue, ladder operations, and more right here on campus.
