Last week's board meeting was the last for longtime member Liz Forman. Liz has served more than the maximum of three terms on the Board of Directors, bringing both generosity and passion for our mission to her time on the board. In addition to corralling her fellow Cornell University alumni for annual giveback days, Liz has taken on a number of leadership roles, serving on the Program and Operational Effectiveness Committee, co-chairing the executive search committee and, most recently, serving as Vice Chair. She has given her time and expertise in human resources to everything from benefit management to coaching and hiring. She has also been an event sponsor, a capital campaign donor, and a true cheerleader for our cause in the many circles in which she travels. We are grateful for all that Liz has done to support Kathy’s House over the past decade and are grateful that she plans to remain involved. Please join us in thanking Liz. (fb)

Following a fond farewell, we’re thrilled to mark a happy milestone: the one-year anniversary of Guest Services Specialist Megan! In just one year, Megan has made a big impact in a role that requires focus, flexibility, and deep compassion. She brings care to every guest interaction, and her sharp intellect and dynamite sense of humor have made her a standout member of our team. We’re so grateful for the energy, care, and humor Megan brings to Kathy’s House each day. Congratulations, Megan!
