“If you build it, they will come. ” That line from "Field of Dreams" shaped how I think about community, advocacy, and change. From my early years volunteering with Relay for Life to now leading the Disability Access in Prison Education project, the lesson has stayed the same: when you create spaces where people feel heard, accepted, and valued, they will show up—and real change will follow.
