(NLIPW) promotes awareness about intellectual property rights. We provide free online access to information on trademarks, patents and designs filed and registered in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and South Africa.Through our Public Access to Statutes Initiative, we provide a database of laws, treaties and cases on Intellectual Property in Nigeria. We understand the importance of open access, and are working to ensure that laws and regulations are accessible to the public. In furtherance of this goal, laws contained in our Laws and Treaties database are free for all users.NLIPW supports the development and passage of legislation, regulations, and trade agreements throughout the world that increase national and international enforcement mechanisms against counterfeiting. Through our newsroom, we provide up-to-date news reports on product liability, incidence of product counterfeiting, anti-counterfeiting activities in countries across the world and cases against copyright and trademark infringement.
